Document access, explained

Read with
more clarity.

This policy explains how Pagly may handle information when you read PDF documents in the app.

About your documents: PDF content is handled when you select a document for an in-app action. Document contents are not intended for advertising SDK processing.

01Scope

This policy applies to Pagly and related services. Effective October 12, 2026. It explains information access, use, sharing, retention, and your choices. An account is not required for ordinary use unless a feature clearly explains otherwise.

02PDF documents and app information

Selected PDFsDocument content, file names, and related metadata may be accessed when you open a PDF or use an available reading feature.
Device and app detailsDevice model, operating-system and app versions, language, IP address, approximate region, and technical identifiers may be processed.
Permission choicesFile access is subject to Android permissions and the file or folder choices you make. Manage permissions through device settings.
SupportMessages and optional details sent to developer support may be used to respond to your request.

PDF content is handled according to the feature used and the released app’s implementation. When processed locally, it remains on your device. Any feature that transmits a document to a service should explain that transfer and be reflected in the app’s privacy and Data safety disclosures.

03Advertising and third-party SDKs

Pagly includes advertising SDKs. Depending on configuration, applicable law, and your choices, advertising partners may process an advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, approximate location inferred from technical signals, ad impressions and interactions, and crash or diagnostic information.

These data may support ad delivery, frequency control, measurement, reliability, and fraud prevention. Personalized advertising is used only where permitted and after required notice or consent. Document content is not intended for ad SDK processing. The actual SDK list, consent flow, and Google Play Data safety declarations should match the released app.

04Use, sharing, and retention

Information may be used to provide and secure Pagly, support PDF reading, show and measure ads, answer support requests, and comply with law. Limited technical information may be shared with hosting, analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, support, and security providers. We do not sell personal information as a standalone product.

Documents you intentionally share or export go to the destination you choose, whose privacy practices apply. Local app data can generally be removed through Pagly or Android settings. Technical records are retained only as reasonably needed for their purposes, security, and legal duties.

05Your choices and rights

You decide which documents to open and can manage permissions through Android settings. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of certain personal information through the developer support contact on Pagly’s Google Play page.

06Security, children, and updates

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online system is completely secure. Pagly is not directed to children below the minimum age required by law, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information in violation of applicable requirements.

We may update this policy when the app, SDKs, or legal requirements change. For privacy questions, contact the developer through the Pagly Google Play listing. Effective date: October 12, 2026
